    The "Virginia is for Lovers" slogan has been used since 1969. Imitated by many but understood by few our motto has derived from a combination of history ads, "Virginia is for History Lovers", beach ads, "Virginia is for Beach Lovers", and mountain ads, "Virginia is for Mountain Lovers". With too many choices already, and many more that could have been, the qualifiers were dropped and "Virginia is for Lovers" was born!

    Virginia Sampler has taken a little bit from every aspect of Virginia to love and brought them together in a website and retail store. We bring you our world famous peanut, seafood, ham, and apple gourmet foods as well as beach trinkets and mountain products.
